Question Time - Why Singapore's healthcare cost is lower than Malaysia?

Perceptions -

1. Sing Dollar is 2.5 times of RM. It is definitely more costly to seek treatment in Singapore.

2. Except for certain major operations e.g certain transplant ops..., most of illness can be treated in Malaysia.

3. A substantial number of doctors in Singapore are Malaysian. Thus, it does not make sense to get a Malaysian doctors to treat you in foreign land.

1. why certain patients take months to get his or her illness treatment but failed. Yet, he or she got recovered after seeking treatment in S'pore.

2. why one has to pay RM1k for the ambulance service to s'pore but just paid RM650 back from S'pore
